Brittany Martinez joins XPT’s Florida office as Underwriter/Broker
July 15, 2026 — XPT Specialty, a leading wholesale broker for commercial and personal insurance, announced that Brittany Martinez has joined the firm as Commercial Underwriter/Broker in its Orlando, Florida office. Martinez brings more than 11 years of experience in property and casualty (P&C) insurance, with a background spanning underwriting, account management, and agency relationship management.
At XPT Specialty, Martinez will work with retail agents on the placement of commercial accounts, drawing on her experience in policy analysis, coverage structuring, and carrier negotiations to help them place complex risks for their clients.
Martinez spent more than a decade at Braishfield Associates in Orlando, moving from Client Account Manager to Underwriting Assistant before being promoted to Commercial Lines Underwriter, where she built a substantial book of business managing both new accounts and renewals.
“I’ve spent my career building relationships with agents and learning what it takes to get a submission across the finish line,” said Martinez. “Joining XPT means I can bring that experience to a platform with even broader market access, and I’m excited to keep building those partnerships for agents across Florida.”
