XPT Specialty Adds Senior P&C Underwriter/Broker in Spokane to Strengthen Small and Middle Market Support in the Pacific Northwest

Michelle Moore-Lukezich, CIC, brings nearly two decades of wholesale commercial lines underwriting experience to XPT’s growing West Coast team

October 8, 2026: XPT Specialty, a leading wholesale broker for commercial and personal insurance, today announced that Michelle Moore-Lukezich has joined the firm as Senior P&C Underwriter/Broker in Spokane, Washington. A Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Moore-Lukezich brings nearly two decades of commercial property and casualty (P&C) underwriting experience in the wholesale market, with a focus on small and middle market accounts.

In her new role, Moore-Lukezich will partner with retail agents across Washington and the broader Pacific Northwest to underwrite and place commercial general liability, property, garage, and professional liability coverage. Working across both binding and brokerage channels, she will give agents a single, experienced point of contact from first submission through bind.

Moore-Lukezich joins XPT from Risk Placement Services (RPS), where she spent a decade as a Commercial Lines Underwriter. Before RPS, she served nearly nine years as a P&C Underwriter at Big Sky Underwriters, a division of Hull & Company, in Missoula, Montana.

“Agents in the small and middle market need an underwriter who can move quickly without shortcutting the risk review, and Michelle has built her career on exactly that balance,” said Jenny Crane, Regional Executive Vice President, XPT Specialty. “Her range across general liability, property, garage, and professional lines gives our retail partners in the Northwest a seasoned resource close to home, and it extends our reach in a region where we see real opportunity.”

“After nearly 20 years on the wholesale side, I know what agents value most: straight answers, fast turnaround, and an underwriter who will dig into an account rather than pass on it,” said Moore-Lukezich. “XPT’s market access and collaborative culture give me more ways to get to yes, and I’m looking forward to putting that to work for agents throughout the region.”

Moore-Lukezich’s appointment continues XPT’s expansion across the Western U.S., following additions in California and Utah earlier this year. To learn more about XPT’s commercial P&C capabilities, visit https://www.xptspecialty.com/.
