XPT announced today the appointment of Mark Smith to President of XPT Specialty. As President, Mark will drive corporate development with producer hires and partner acquisitions. He will also be facilitating organic growth with market access, new product development and exclusive service offerings to client agencies. XPT continues to develop expert wholesale insurance broking and Managing General Agency platform through acquisitions and rapid operational growth, most recently with the 8th acquisition in MGA and surplus lines broker S&H Underwriters.
Mark has a long history of success both in corporate development and organic growth of leading wholesale and binding platform companies as well as a breadth of distribution knowledge. He has held leadership positions with Stewart Smith Group and AmWINS Brokerage and business development roles with RT Specialty and Swett & Crawford. Most recently, Mark is a Founding Partner of XPT.
